Why do this:
I’m trying to add bluetooth multiplayer features to my recent released game which uses cocos2d-html5 + JSBinding + cocos2d-x and could not find articles about this on the Internet so I decided to find a way out myself.

CCCalendar-HTML5 version

I was looking for a nice and simple calendar solution in cocos2d-html5 for my recent project ~ I tried to use some jquery calendar plugin — they are beautiful and well-implemented but the one thing that I don’t like is that you can not play it in a cocos2d-way. So I decided to make a calendar in a cocos2d-way and here it is.

.Background:
I nearly completed porting one of my old ios game (about 1 year ago) to the web using cocos2d-html5(80%).

Some words about this game — It’s a simple board(card) game which use the PaiGow (Chinese tranditional card).



CCLabelTableEditor for cocos2d

After failed searching for a proper table control in cocos2d I decide to create one myself – and then here’s the “CCLabelTable”.

I also made a CCLabelTableEditor to make it easier to create beautiful tables and then reuse it in other projects πŸ™‚

[Share] ExplosionParticleDemo – using an improved CCParticleSystem

This is demo is for the latest game special effect competition held by cocoachina forum. The theme this time is – particle explosion effect.

After looking into the CCParticleSystem class in cocos2d framework I found that the support for changing the property of each particle during its life time is quite limited. You can only set the particle property by specifying the startXXX, endXXX, startXXXVar, endXXXVar while initializing. (and it supports linear function type only)

I happen to need a gesture feature for my recent game so I did some search on Internet and tried some 3rd party libraries as well and finally find the solution. And I would like to share the search result with those who may be interest in.



[Share] CCSlidingLayer Demo (An improved Scroll layer)

I shared a “Scroll layer demo” serval month ago which only supports horizontal mode : Check here

And here is a improved version which has the following features:

1. You can specify the size of the scroll layer
2. You can specify the container rect in which the scroll layer will be
3. You can add multiple scroll layers in the same scene at the same time and they will response to the touch event separately
4. The scroll layer supports vertical and horizontal mode
